In all projects, my main inspiration is the client themself.
As an Interior Designer, its my passion to help my clients create a space of their own self-expression. Curating a space you can’t wait to meet after a long day and a space you’re proud to invite friends and family into is an invaluable asset to a well lived life.
From architectural plans, furniture layouts, construction and down to the items we style on your shelves, your space should represent and reflect those that live and work within its walls.
The design process is a personal journey that attributes to your daily function and inspires your future goals and hobbies. With all that familiar spaces offer throughout life, the art of creating it is important work. It is my pride and passion to bring these spaces to life .
We are an interior design firm focused on creating the foundation for timeless living with custom interiors that are functional, and beautiful and elevate our client’s everyday life for an approachable home.
BIO
As founder and principal designer at House of Helene, Corina has brought laid-back elegance and timeless interiors to projects across the US for more than 10 years.
With an affinity for a clean aesthetic with lots of added texture, Corina pairs timeless, cozy interiors with lived-in meaningful accents of found vintage items. She approaches each project as a way to tell each client’s story through their project. The root of all projects is based on creating environments that feel warm, comfortable, and familiar, but thoughtfully designed, well-functioning, and beautiful.
Corina’s passion for design and curating home goods started at a young age. From rearranging every room in the house & all day shopping trips with her mother, to studying architecture in Europe and gaining a degree in Interior Design.
Born and raised in a little town called Winthrop by the Sea next to the city of Boston, Corina has been surrounded by historic architecture and design her entire life. After gaining a psychology degree and studying architecture in Europe. Corina found herself leaning more and more into the design field and decided to pursue her Architectural Design degree in sunny Florida. Merging her study of psychology and understanding people & their individuality with the study of design has been one of the greatest assets to her knowledge as an interior designer.
Her Florida design years coupled with a lifetime of historic New England coastal aesthetic, lean her into a laid-back coastal approach coupled with vintage accents and a mix of texture and natural elements, creating elegant spaces that feel like home.
When Corina isn’t designing homes and offices or curating items for the studio shop, you can find her out and about with her adorable son (4) and daughter (3). Visiting their favorite places, the Boston Public Gardens, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, or the many local options of stunning museums and libraries.
